Anthony Brigano: Government Relations Manager

Tony Brigano, government relations manager for Hicks Partners, LLC, has considerable expertise in representing the interests of utility and energy organizations before the Office of the Governor, the Ohio General Assembly and Ohio congressional delegations.

In this role he analyzes and assesses the impact of proposed legislation and suggests courses of action to influence and/or utilize policies implemented. In addition, Brigano helps clients define and prioritize issues and develop plans for navigating their concerns through the legislative process.

Brigano began his career in state government as a Constituent Aide for the Governor of Ohio, soon moving up to Director of Public Inquiries. Additional experience was gained as a Senior Legislative Aide to two State Representatives, a Caucus Policy Aide to the House Minority Leader, and most recently as a Policy Aide to the Speaker of the House.

As a Policy Aide, Brigano oversaw multiple policy areas and committees including Agriculture and Natural Resources; Commerce and Labor; Housing and Urban Revitalization; Public Utilities; and State Government. In addition, he worked for the Chairman of the House Public Utilities Committee which oversaw comprehensive electricity and energy policy revisions for the State of Ohio during his tenure.

Brigano holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Wright State University.
