Emily D. Turner: Project Manager
Emily Turner is a project manager for Hicks Partners, LLC. In this role, she serves as a lead economic development and business incentives consultant assisting clients to obtain public grants, loans and tax incentives to help grow their businesses. Turner provides research and analysis for clients seeking business incentives, negotiates transactions, assists clients with financial assistance implementation, and helps public economic development departments enhance their effectiveness.
Turner also collaborates with our clients on Third Frontier grant proposals by offering project management, proposal writing, editing, and coaching through the Third Frontier process.
Prior to joining Hicks Partners, Turner capitalized on her experience as a supervising senior in the State and Local Tax division for KPMG LLP by operating her own consulting business. She also previously served as a business development representative for the Ohio Department of Development, and as development specialist for the City of Dayton and Butler County, Ohio. Turner has consulted on economic development projects in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana.
Turner is a graduate of Miami University. She is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council and a Certified Affordable Housing Professional by the Ohio CDC Association.
