The Third Frontier Project is a $1.6 billion initiative designed to expand Ohio’s high-tech research capabilities, promote innovation, company formation and create high-paying jobs. Areas of funding focus include advanced materials, energy, bioscience, information technology, instruments controls and electronics, and power and propulsion.
The professionals of Hicks Partners helped create this economic development initiative. As chief of staff to the governor, Brian Hicks was a driving force in developing and branding the project. Ann Hamilton led the marketing efforts behind the project.
